Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 6 tbsp cold butter, cubed
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • ¾ cup whole milk
  • ½ cup clotted cream
  • ½ cup strawberry jam

Instructions

    Preheat oven to 400°F. Mix flour, sugar, and a pinch of salt in a bowl.

    Cut cold butter into flour with your fingertips until it resembles breadcrumbs.

    Pour in milk and stir gently until a soft dough just comes together.

    Turn dough onto a floured surface and gently pat into a 1-inch-thick disk.

    Cut into 4 wedges or use a biscuit cutter for rounds. Place on a baking sheet.
