Ingredients
- 8 oz pork belly
- 4 oz rice noodles
- 1 medium carrot
- 2 stalks green onions
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- ½ tsp black pepper

Slice the 8 oz pork belly into thin strips. Place in a steamer basket and steam over boiling water until cooked through and tender, about 15 minutes.

While pork steams, cook the 4 oz rice noodles according to package directions until just tender, then drain and set aside.

Peel and slice the 1 medium carrot into thin rounds. Thinly slice the 2 green onions, separating white and green parts.

In a pot, bring 4 cups water to a boil. Add the 2 tbsp soy sauce, carrot slices, and white parts of green onions. Simmer until carrots are tender, about 5 minutes.
