Ingredients
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 stalks green onions, sliced
- 1 whole red chili pepper, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 cups steamed rice

In a small bowl, mix the 6 minced garlic cloves, 2 tbsp soy sauce, and 1 tbsp vegetable oil. Set aside.

Arrange the 1 lb shrimp in a single layer on a heatproof plate. Spoon the garlic mixture evenly over the shrimp.

Place the plate in a steamer over boiling water. Cover and steam until shrimp are pink and opaque, about 5-7 minutes.

Carefully remove the plate from the steamer. Sprinkle with the 3 sliced green onions and 1 sliced red chili pepper.
