Ingredients
- 2 pounds clams
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic
- ½ cup white wine
- ½ cup water
- 2 tablespoons parsley
- ½ teaspoon salt

Scrub the 2 pounds clams under cold water and discard any that are open or cracked.

Melt the 2 tbsp butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add the 3 minced garlic cloves and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Pour in the 1/2 cup white wine and 1/2 cup water. Bring to a simmer over medium-high heat.

Add the clams to the pot, cover, and steam until they open, about 8-10 minutes. Shake the pot occasionally.

Once clams are open, stir in the 2 tbsp chopped parsley and 1/2 tsp salt. Discard any unopened clams.
