Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs frozen beef meatballs
  • 1.5 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 8 slices provolone cheese slices
  • 4 rolls sub rolls (hoagie-style)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

    Heat butter in a large skillet over medium-high. Add garlic, cook 30 seconds until fragrant.

    Add frozen meatballs, stir occasionally, until browned on all sides, 8–10 minutes.

    Pour in marinara and smoked paprika, stir to coat. Simmer 4 minutes.

    Divide meatballs and sauce among rolls. Top each with 2 slices provolone.

    Return filled rolls to the same skillet (or a sheet pan). Cook over medium heat or broil 2–3 minutes until cheese melts.
