Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 2 cups soft serve ice cream
  • ½ cup corn flakes cereal

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat oven to 375°F. Mix softened butter and both sugars until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes.

  2. 2

Beat in the egg until combined. Stir in flour, salt, and vanilla until just mixed.

  3. 3

Fold in chocolate chips. Transfer dough to a 10-inch cast iron skillet, press evenly.

  4. 4

Bake until edges are golden but center still looks slightly underbaked, 12–14 minutes.

  5. 5

Remove from oven. Top with scoops of cold soft serve ice cream while cookie is still warm.
