Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs shrimp, large (16/20 count), peeled and deveined
- 1 whole lemon, halved
- ¾ cup ketchup
- 3 tbsp horseradish, prepared
- 2 tbsp lemon juice, fresh
- ½ tsp hot sauce (like Tabasco)
- 1 pinch salt and pepper to taste

Mix ketchup, horseradish, lemon juice, and hot sauce in a small bowl.

Taste and adjust seasoning with salt, pepper, or more hot sauce. Refrigerate.

Fill a pot with 2 quarts water, add lemon halves and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil.

Add shrimp and stir. Cook until all shrimp are opaque and curled, 3–4 minutes.

Transfer shrimp to an ice bath. Chill for at least 10 minutes until cold.

Drain shrimp and pat dry with paper towels.

Arrange shrimp around the rim of a coupe glass or serving bowl filled with ice.
