Ingredients

  • 12 pieces store-bought puri (fried shells)
  • 2 medium boiled potatoes, peeled and diced small
  • ½ cup tamarind chutney
  • ¾ cup sev (chickpea noodles)
  • ½ medium onion, minced
  • 1 tsp chaat masala powder
  • 3 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions

    Mix diced potatoes with chaat masala powder and half the minced onion in a bowl.

    Spoon 1 tbsp tamarind chutney into the hollow of each puri shell.

    Top each puri with 1 tbsp seasoned potato mixture, dividing evenly.

    Sprinkle remaining raw onion and sev generously over the potatoes.

    Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve immediately while puris are still crisp.
