Ingredients
- 2 6 oz each tuna steaks
- 2 medium zucchini
- 1 medium avocado
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp black pepper
Instructions
- 1
Pat the 2 tuna steaks dry with paper towels and season both sides with the 0.5 tsp black pepper and a pinch of salt.
- 2
Spiralize the 2 zucchini into noodles using a spiralizer or vegetable peeler. Set aside on paper towels to absorb excess moisture.
- 3
Heat 1 tbsp of the olive oil in a skillet over high heat until shimmering. Add the tuna steaks and sear for 1-2 minutes per side until browned outside but still rare inside. Remove and rest.
- 4
In a small bowl, whisk together the 3 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tsp sesame oil, and remaining 1 tbsp olive oil to make the drizzle.
- 5
In the same skillet over medium heat, add the zucchini noodles and toss for 1-2 minutes until just warmed but still crisp. Remove from heat.
- 6
Slice the 1 avocado. Divide the zucchini noodles between plates, top with sliced tuna, avocado slices, and drizzle with the soy sauce mixture.
- 7
Serve immediately, finishing with extra black pepper if desired.
