Ingredients

  • 4 filets white fish fillets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 whole lemon
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions

  1. 1

Pat the 4 fish fillets dry and season both sides with the 0.5 tsp salt and a few grinds of black pepper.

  2. 2

Heat the 2 tbsp olive oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high until shimmering, about 2 minutes.

  3. 3

Place the fillets skin-side down in the pan and cook without moving until the edges turn opaque and the bottom is golden, about 4 minutes.

  4. 4

Flip the fillets, add the 2 tbsp butter and the juice of the 1 lemon, and cook until the fish flakes easily with a fork, about 2 more minutes.

  5. 5

Spoon the pan sauce over the fillets and sprinkle with the 2 tbsp chopped parsley before serving.
