Ingredients
- 1 package (17.3 oz) puff pastry sheets
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper

Preheat oven to 400°F. Thaw puff pastry according to package directions if frozen.

Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add 1 diced onion and cook until soft and golden, about 6 minutes.

Add 1 lb ground beef to the skillet. Cook, breaking it up, until browned and no longer pink, about 8 minutes. Season with 1 tsp salt and 0.5 tsp black pepper.

Remove from heat and stir in 0.5 cup breadcrumbs and 1 beaten egg until well combined. Let cool slightly.

Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface. Cut into 6 squares. Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each square.

Fold pastry over to form triangles, press edges with a fork to seal. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Brush tops with beaten egg (optional) and sprinkle with extra breadcrumbs. Bake until golden and puffed, 20-25 minutes. Let cool 5 minutes before serving.
