Ingredients
- 1 lb raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 stalks green onions, thinly sliced

Toast the 2 tbsp sesame seeds in a dry skillet over medium heat, shaking often, until fragrant and lightly golden, about 3 minutes. Transfer to a small bowl to cool.

In a small bowl, whisk together the 3 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp rice vinegar, 1 tsp sesame oil, and 1 tsp sugar until the sugar dissolves. Set aside.

Pat the 1 lb shrimp dry with paper towels. If you like, slice them in half lengthwise for a more delicate bite.

Arrange the shrimp on a serving plate. Sprinkle with the toasted sesame seeds and the 2 sliced green onions.
