Ingredients
- 2.5 lbs chicken pieces (thighs and drumsticks preferred)
- ¾ cup all-purpose flour
- 6 cloves garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup neutral cooking oil
- 1.5 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper

Pat chicken dry with paper towels. Season all over with salt and black pepper.

Toss chicken in flour until lightly coated on all sides. Shake off excess.

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high until a garlic clove sizzles immediately when dropped in.

Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant, then carefully place chicken skin-side down.
