Ingredients

  • ½ lb deli ham
  • 4 slices swiss cheese
  • ¼ cup pickles
  • 2 tbsp mustard

Instructions

    Split 2 crusty rolls or sandwich bread in half lengthwise.

    Spread mustard on both cut sides, then layer ham, cheese, and pickles on the bottom half.

    Press the top half down to close the sandwich.

    Heat a skillet over medium-high and add 1 tbsp oil; once shimmering, place the sandwich in the pan.

    Press down with a spatula for 2–3 minutes until the bottom is golden and crispy, then flip.

    Cook the second side 2 minutes until golden and the cheese melts, then serve hot.
