Ingredients
- 1.5 lb pork loin, thinly sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ¾ cup white wine
- 1 whole bay leaf
- 4 whole crusty rolls or baguette
- 1 pinch salt and pepper to taste

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering, about 90 seconds.

Working in batches, sear pork slices 90 seconds per side without moving until golden. Transfer to a plate.

Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook, stirring, until fragrant, about 30 seconds.

Pour white wine into the skillet, scraping up browned bits from the bottom with a wooden spoon.

Return pork and bay leaf to the skillet. Simmer uncovered for 8–10 minutes until sauce reduces slightly.
