Ingredients
- 8 pieces frozen steamed bao buns
- 1 lb roasted char siu pork (or rotisserie pork), shredded
- 3 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 stalks scallions, chopped
- 1 tsp sesame oil

Heat a large skillet over medium-high until hot, about 1 minute.

Add pork, hoisin, honey, and sesame oil. Stir until combined and heated through, 3–4 minutes.

Fold in scallions and remove from heat.

Set a bamboo or metal steamer basket over a pot of simmering water. Arrange bao buns in the steamer in a single layer, seam-side up.

Cover and steam for 5–6 minutes until buns are warm and fluffy.

Split each warm bun and fill with 2 tbsp pork filling. Serve immediately.
