Ingredients
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 1.5 cups poppy seed filling (canned or jarred)
- 1 sheet puff pastry sheet, thawed
- 1 whole egg yolk
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp honey
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F. Dust a sheet pan lightly with flour.

Lay the puff pastry sheet on the pan. Spread poppy seed filling across it, leaving a 1-inch border on all edges.

Roll the pastry tightly from the long side into a log. Place seam-side down and seal edges with your fingers.

Whisk egg yolk with 1 tbsp water. Brush the entire roll with the mixture until glossy.

Bake for 12–14 minutes until deep golden brown and puffed. Drizzle warm honey over the top immediately.

Let cool 5 minutes, then slice into 6 portions and serve.
