Ingredients

  • 1 ball store-bought pizza dough (1 lb)
  • 1 medium yellow onion
  • 1 cup dill pickle chips (drained)
  • 2 cups whole milk mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 3 tbsp cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 to taste salt and black pepper

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat oven to 475°F. Slice onion into thin half-moons.

  2. 2

Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium. Add onions and cook, stirring occasionally, until golden and soft, 12–15 minutes.

  3. 3

Drain pickles well in a colander, pressing gently to remove excess brine.

  4. 4

Stretch pizza dough into a round on a parchment-lined baking sheet, about 12 inches across.

  5. 5

Brush dough lightly with 1 tbsp olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.

  6. 6

Spread cream cheese evenly over the dough as a base layer.

  7. 7

Scatter caramelized onions over the cream cheese, then add drained pickles.

  8. 8

Top with shredded mozzarella, covering the entire surface.

  9. 9

Bake until crust is golden and cheese bubbles at edges, 10–12 minutes.

  10. 10

Scatter fresh dill over hot pizza. Slice and serve immediately.
