Ingredients

  • 1 portion store-bought pizza dough (12-inch)
  • 1.5 cups pulled pork (or shredded pork shoulder)
  • ¾ cup Memphis-style BBQ sauce
  • 1.5 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • ½ medium onion red onion, very thinly sliced
  • 1.5 cups coleslaw mix (or cabbage, shredded)
  • 3 tbsp buttermilk
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 pinch salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat oven to 475°F. Place a baking sheet or pizza stone in the oven.

  2. 2

Warm pulled pork with 0.5 cup BBQ sauce in a small saucepan over medium heat, ~3 minutes.

  3. 3

Toss coleslaw mix with buttermilk, remaining 0.25 cup BBQ sauce, salt, and pepper in a bowl.

  4. 4

Scatter red onion slices over pork. Top with mozzarella, covering all pork completely.

  7. 7

Bake 12–15 minutes until crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbly at the edges.

  8. 8

Remove pizza from oven. Let rest 2 minutes. Pile coleslaw on top.

    Slice and serve immediately.
