Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 0.1 pinch black pepper

Instructions

    Melt butter in an 8-inch nonstick skillet over medium heat until foaming stops, ~90 seconds.

    Crack eggs directly into the pan, keeping yolks intact and spaced apart.

    Cook until egg whites turn opaque and set but yolks still jiggle when you gently shake the pan, 3–4 minutes.

    Sprinkle salt and pepper over the eggs, slide onto a plate, and serve immediately.
