Ingredients

  • 1 double shot (2 oz) espresso or very strong brewed coffee
  • 8 oz whole milk, cold
  • ½ tsp sugar (optional)

Instructions

    Pull a double shot of espresso into a warm cup, or brew 2 oz of very strong coffee.

    Pour cold milk into a frothing pitcher and steam or froth until it reaches 150–155°F with fine, velvety foam.

    Pour steamed milk into the espresso, tilting the cup to create a thin layer of microfoam on top.

    Serve immediately while hot. Add sugar to taste if desired.
