Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin steak
  • 2 medium bell peppers
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 medium carrot
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce

Instructions

  1. 1

Slice the 1 lb beef sirloin steak thinly against the grain. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.

  2. 2

Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the beef in a single layer and sear until browned, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

  3. 3

In the same skillet, add 1 tbsp oil, then the 2 sliced bell peppers, 1 sliced onion, and 1 julienned carrot. Stir-fry until crisp-tender, about 4-5 minutes.

  4. 4

Add the 3 minced garlic cloves and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.

  5. 5

Return the beef to the skillet. Pour in the 3 tbsp soy sauce and stir-fry everything together for 1-2 minutes until the sauce coats the meat and vegetables. Serve hot.
