Ingredients
- 4 filets white fish fillets
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
- 4 wedges lemon wedges
Instructions
- 1
Pat the 4 fish fillets dry with paper towels. In a shallow dish, mix the 1/2 cup flour, 1 tsp paprika, 1 tsp salt, and 1/2 tsp black pepper.
- 2
Dredge each fillet in the seasoned flour, pressing lightly to coat both sides. Shake off any excess flour.
- 3
Heat the 1/4 cup vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering, about 2 minutes.
- 4
Carefully place the fillets in the hot oil in a single layer. Cook without moving until the bottom is golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes.
- 5
Flip the fillets and cook until the other side is golden and the fish flakes easily with a fork, about 3-4 more minutes.
- 6
Transfer the fish to a plate lined with paper towels to drain. Serve hot with the 4 lemon wedges on the side.
