Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 12 oz penne or rotini pasta
  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Instructions

    Brown ground beef in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high, breaking apart with a spoon, until no pink remains, ~6 minutes.

    Add pasta, taco seasoning, and 3 cups water to the skillet and stir well.

    Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium and simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender, ~10 minutes.

    Sprinkle cheddar over the top, remove from heat, and stir until cheese melts completely.
