Ingredients

  • ½ lb boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 4 slices bacon, chopped
  • 8 oz penne or rigatoni
  • 3 oz cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp ranch seasoning mix
  • 1.5 cups chicken broth

Instructions

  1. 1

Cook bacon in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high until crispy, ~5 minutes. Transfer to a plate; set aside.

  2. 2

Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces. Add to the bacon drippings and cook, stirring occasionally, until golden, ~6 minutes.

  3. 3

Pour in broth and bring to a boil. Add pasta and ranch seasoning; stir well.

  4. 4

Simmer uncovered, stirring frequently, until pasta is tender and liquid reduces slightly, ~5 minutes.

  5. 5

Cut cream cheese into chunks and stir into pasta off the heat until melted and creamy. Fold in bacon.

  6. 6

Taste and adjust salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
