Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup strawberries
- 2 tablespoons honey
- ¼ teaspoon salt

In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup rolled oats, 2 cups water, 1 cup milk, and 0.25 tsp salt. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to medium-low.

Simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, until the oats are tender and the mixture is creamy, about 8-10 minutes. The oatmeal should thicken and look glossy.

While the oats cook, hull and slice 1 cup strawberries into bite-sized pieces.

Once the oatmeal is done, remove from heat and stir in 2 tbsp honey. Adjust sweetness to taste.

Divide the oatmeal between two bowls and top each with half of the sliced strawberries. Serve warm.
