Ingredients

  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream, cold
  • ⅓ cup pistachio paste (or finely ground roasted pistachios)
  • 3 oz dark chocolate, finely chopped
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar

Instructions

    Whip cold heavy cream in a bowl until stiff peaks form, ~2 minutes.

    Fold sweetened condensed milk, pistachio paste, vanilla, and salt into whipped cream until combined.

    Divide mixture in half. Fold chopped chocolate and 1 tbsp sugar into one half for chocolate gelato.

    Spoon both flavors into serving bowls or cones, layering pistachio and chocolate.
