Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium. Add 8 oz sliced mushrooms and 2 minced garlic cloves; cook until mushrooms are golden and tender, about 6 minutes.

Spread 1/2 cup tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border. Sprinkle 2 cups mozzarella over the sauce.
