Ingredients

  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • ½ cup tomato sauce
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese
  • 8 oz mushrooms
  • ½ cup black olives
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat oven to 475°F with a pizza stone or baking sheet inside. Roll out the 1 lb dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.

  2. 2

Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium. Add 8 oz sliced mushrooms and 2 minced garlic cloves; cook until mushrooms are golden and tender, about 6 minutes.

  3. 3

Spread 1/2 cup tomato sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border. Sprinkle 2 cups mozzarella over the sauce.

  4. 4

Scatter the cooked mushrooms, 1/2 cup black olives, and 2 cups fresh spinach over the cheese. Add a pinch of salt and pepper.

  5. 5

Transfer the pizza to the hot stone or sheet. Bake until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly, 10-12 minutes.

  6. 6

Let rest for 2 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh rosemary or chili flakes if desired.
