Ingredients
- 1 9-inch pie crust
- 2 cups milk
- ½ cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 3 large egg yolks
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350°F. Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish and crimp edges.

In a saucepan, heat milk and butter over medium until butter melts and milk is hot, but not boiling.

Gradually whisk hot milk into the egg mixture, then return everything to the saucepan.
