Ingredients
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1.5 cups powdered sugar
- 2 large egg whites
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- 2 drops food coloring

Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a bowl, whisk together 1 cup almond flour and 1.5 cups powdered sugar. Set aside.

In a separate bowl, beat 2 egg whites until foamy, then gradually add 0.25 cup granulated sugar and continue beating until stiff peaks form, about 5 minutes.

Fold the dry mixture into the meringue along with 2 drops food coloring until just combined and smooth, about 30 folds.

Pipe small circles onto the prepared sheet, tap the tray to release air bubbles, then let rest for 15 minutes until a skin forms. Bake for 15 minutes, until the shells are set and peel off easily.
