Ingredients

  • 1 lb frozen shoestring fries
  • ½ lb ground beef
  • 1 cup prepared queso dip or cheese sauce
  • ¼ cup fresh jalapeños, sliced
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ½ whole lime
  • 2 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions

  1. 1

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high. Add fries in a single layer and cook 4 minutes per side until golden and crispy.

  2. 2

Push fries to the edge of the skillet. Brown ground beef with cumin, breaking it up with a spoon, until no pink remains, ~5 minutes.

  3. 3

Pour queso sauce over the fries and beef. Scatter jalapeños on top and let the queso warm through, 1 minute.

  4. 4

Squeeze lime juice over everything. Top with cilantro and serve immediately from the skillet.
