Ingredients
- 4 count breakfast sausage patties
- 2 cups frozen shredded hash browns
- 4 count eggs
- ½ cup sharp cheddar, shredded
- 4 slices bread for toast
- 2 tbsp butter

Heat a 12-inch cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Brown sausage patties 3–4 minutes per side until cooked through, then chop into bite-sized pieces.

Push sausage to skillet edges. Add hash browns to center and flatten with a spatula. Cook 5 minutes without stirring until golden on bottom.

Stir hash browns into sausage. Create four wells in the mixture and crack one egg into each. Cover skillet and cook 3 minutes until whites set but yolks jiggle.

Sprinkle cheese over eggs and around skillet. Remove from heat and let sit 1 minute until cheese melts.

Toast bread until golden. Butter while warm. Serve skillet hot alongside toast and coffee.
