Ingredients

  • 2 chops pork chops (1 inch thick)
  • 1 tbsp lemon pepper seasoning
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 8 oz green beans, trimmed
  • ¼ cup sliced almonds
  • 1 lb sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed

Instructions

  1. 1

Start sweet potatoes in a pot of cold salted water, bring to boil.

  2. 2

Pat pork chops dry, coat both sides generously with lemon pepper seasoning.

  3. 3

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a skillet over medium-high until shimmering, about 90 seconds.

  4. 4

Sear pork chops 2 minutes per side without moving — edges should turn golden.

  5. 5

Add butter to the skillet, tilt to coat chops, and cook 30 seconds until fragrant.

  6. 6

While potatoes finish (10 min more), sauté green beans with almonds in another skillet, 5 minutes, then serve everything hot.
