Ingredients

  • 14 oz firm tofu
  • 1 cup kimchi
  • 3 stalks green onions
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. 1

Press the 14 oz firm tofu between paper towels for 10 minutes to remove excess water, then cut into 1/2-inch thick slices.

  2. 2

Heat 2 tbsp vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add tofu slices in a single layer and cook until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

  3. 3

In the same skillet, add 1 cup kimchi and cook over medium heat until fragrant and slightly caramelized, about 3-4 minutes.

  4. 4

Return tofu to the skillet, add 1 tbsp soy sauce and 1 tsp sesame oil. Stir gently to coat, cooking for 2-3 minutes until heated through.

  5. 5

Slice 3 green onions thinly. Sprinkle over the dish before serving.
