Ingredients

- 1 cup bulgur wheat
- 1 medium onion
- 1 tsp allspice
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1 medium beetroot
- 1 whole lemon

Soak the 1 cup bulgur in hot water for 10 minutes, then drain well and squeeze out excess moisture.

In a bowl, mix the soaked bulgur, 1 lb ground beef, 1 grated onion, 1 tsp allspice, and 1 tsp salt until well combined.

Shape the mixture into 12 oval meatballs, pressing firmly so they hold together.
