Ingredients
- 3 oz gelatin powder
- 2 cups water
- ½ cup sugar
- 5 drops food coloring

In a medium bowl, sprinkle the 3 oz gelatin powder over 1 cup cold water. Let stand for 5 minutes to soften.

Bring 1 cup water to a boil in a small saucepan. Pour the boiling water over the softened gelatin and stir until completely dissolved, about 2 minutes.

Stir in the 1/2 cup sugar and 5 drops food coloring until the sugar is fully dissolved and the color is even.

Pour the mixture into a 4-cup mold or bowl. Refrigerate until set, at least 4 hours or overnight.
