- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 2 cloves garlic
- 8 pieces skewers
Instructions
- 1
Soak 8 wooden skewers in water for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, slice 1 lb beef sirloin into thin strips, about 1/4-inch thick.

In a bowl, mix 3 tbsp soy sauce, 2 tbsp brown sugar, 1 tbsp lime juice, and 2 minced garlic cloves. Add the beef strips and toss to coat evenly.
- 3
Thread the beef onto the soaked skewers, folding strips accordion-style. Reserve the leftover marinade for basting.
- 4
Grill the skewers over medium-high heat (or under a broiler) for 3-4 minutes per side, basting with the reserved marinade, until the beef is browned and slightly charred at the edges.
