Ingredients
- 2 shots (or 3 oz) strong brewed espresso or double-strength coffee, cooled slightly
- 8 oz whole milk or 2% milk
- 1 cup ice cubes
- ½ tbsp granulated sugar or honey
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract (optional)
- 4 oz whole milk for steaming or frothing

Brew 2 shots of espresso or 3 oz strong coffee; let cool 1 minute.

For iced: pour cooled espresso into a glass with ice, add 8 oz cold milk and 0.5 tbsp sugar, stir until sugar dissolves.

For hot: heat remaining 4 oz milk until steaming (or shake in a jar for 10 seconds to froth), pour into a mug with espresso.

Top hot latte with foam; serve both cups immediately.
