Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp dried hibiscus flowers
  • 1.5 cups hot water
  • 1 tbsp honey or agave syrup
  • 1 cup ice

Instructions

    Pour hot water over hibiscus flowers in a heatproof glass or pitcher.

    Let steep for 5 minutes until the liquid turns deep red and flowers soften.

    Strain out the flowers through a fine-mesh sieve into a clean glass.

    Stir in honey until dissolved. Let cool for 1 minute.

    Fill two glasses with ice and pour hibiscus tea over. Serve immediately.
