Ingredients

  • 4 pieces pork cutlets
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 medium apples
  • ¼ cup lingonberry jam
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons chives

Instructions

  1. 1

Pound cutlets to 1/4-inch thickness. Season with salt and pepper.

  2. 2

Set up three shallow dishes: flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.

  3. 3

Dredge each cutlet in flour, dip in egg, then coat with breadcrumbs, pressing firmly.

  4. 4

Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high. Fry cutlets until golden brown, about 3 minutes per side. Set aside.

  5. 5

In the same skillet, add sliced apples and sauté until tender, about 4 minutes. Remove and keep warm.

  6. 6

Add lingonberry jam and beef broth to the skillet. Stir and simmer until slightly thickened, about 2 minutes.

  7. 7

Serve cutlets topped with sauce, alongside apples, and garnish with chopped chives.

  8. 8

Optional: add a splash of cream or a pinch of paprika to the sauce for extra richness.
