Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup cold butter, cubed
- ¼ tsp salt
- 6 tbsp ice water
- ¾ cup jam or preserves (any flavor)
- ¾ cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk

Combine flour and salt in a large bowl.

Add cold butter cubes and rub with your fingertips until the mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs.

Add ice water 1 tablespoon at a time, stirring gently until dough just comes together.

Form dough into a disk, wrap in plastic, and chill for 15 minutes.

Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Roll dough between two sheets of plastic wrap into a thin rectangle, ~1/8 inch thick.
