Ingredients

  • ¾ cup whole milk (or oat/almond milk)
  • 1 oz espresso (or strong brewed coffee)
  • ½ tsp honey or sugar

Instructions

  1. 1

Pour milk into a microwave-safe mug and heat for 60 seconds until steaming and small bubbles form around the edges.

  2. 2

Pull or brew 1 shot of espresso (1 oz) into a separate small cup or directly into your serving mug if using strong coffee.

  3. 3

Pour the hot milk into the espresso, holding back the foam with a spoon and leaving 1/2 inch of space at the rim.

  4. 4

Vigorously stir the remaining milk in the mug with a fork for 20 seconds to create microfoam.

  5. 5

Top the latte with the foamed milk, using a spoon to guide it. Drizzle honey or sugar on top if desired.
