Ingredients
- 1 double shot (2 oz) espresso
- 4 oz whole milk
- ½ tsp (optional) sugar

Pull a double shot of espresso (about 2 oz) into a cappuccino cup.

Steam 4 oz of cold whole milk until it reaches 150–155°F and a smooth microfoam forms.

Pour the steamed milk into the espresso, holding back the foam with a spoon to pour only liquid first.

Top with a thick layer of milk foam (about 1/4 inch). Add sugar if desired and serve immediately.
