Ingredients

  • 2 large croissants
  • 4 slices deli ham
  • 2 slices cheddar cheese
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup potato chips

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat a skillet over medium heat and add the 1 tbsp butter, letting it melt and sizzle.

  2. 2

Slice the 2 croissants horizontally, keeping the top attached if possible, and spread 1 tsp Dijon mustard on each bottom half.

  3. 3

Layer 2 slices of deli ham and 1 slice of cheddar cheese on each croissant bottom, then close the tops.

  4. 4

Place the sandwiches in the skillet and press gently with a spatula. Cook until the bottom is golden and crisp, about 2-3 minutes.

  5. 5

Flip the sandwiches and cook the other side until the cheese is melted and the croissant is warm, another 2-3 minutes.

  6. 6

Remove from the skillet, slice each sandwich in half, and serve immediately with the 1 cup potato chips on the side.
