Ingredients
- 1 lb gyro meat (or lamb/beef strips)
- 4 pieces pita bread
- 1 large tomato
- ½ medium red onion
- 2 cups lettuce
- 1 medium cucumber
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tsp garlic powder

In a small bowl, mix 1 cup Greek yogurt, 1 tsp garlic powder, and a pinch of salt. Grate half the cucumber and squeeze out excess water, then stir it in. Set aside.

Slice the remaining cucumber, 1 tomato, and 1/2 red onion. Tear 2 cups lettuce. Set aside.

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1 lb gyro meat and cook, stirring occasionally, until browned and heated through, about 6-8 minutes.

Warm 4 pita breads in the skillet or microwave for 30 seconds until soft and pliable.
