Ingredients
- 1 lb steak (such as sirloin or ribeye)
- 1 lb frozen French fries
- 2 medium green bell peppers
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
Instructions
- 1
Preheat your grill or grill pan over high heat. Toss the 2 sliced green bell peppers with 1 tbsp olive oil and a pinch of salt in a bowl.
- 2
Season the 1 lb steak on both sides with the remaining salt and black pepper. Place on the hot grill and cook for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until it reaches your desired doneness.
- 3
While the steak cooks, heat the remaining 1 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the peppers and cook, stirring occasionally, until they are tender and slightly charred, about 5-7 minutes.
- 4
Cook the 1 lb frozen French fries according to package instructions, usually in the oven at 425°F for 20-25 minutes, until golden and crispy.
- 5
Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve the sliced steak with the fries and peppers on the side.
