Ingredients
- 1 lb squid (cleaned, bodies and tentacles)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 lemon (juiced)
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper

Rinse the 1 lb squid and pat dry. Cut the bodies into 2-inch pieces, leaving tentacles whole. Thread onto skewers, about 4-5 pieces per skewer.

In a small bowl, whisk 2 tbsp olive oil, 2 minced garlic cloves, juice of 1 lemon, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp black pepper. Brush the mixture over the squid skewers.

Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Grill the skewers for 2-3 minutes per side, until the squid is opaque and lightly charred, turning once.

Remove from grill and serve immediately with extra lemon wedges if desired.
