Ingredients

  • 4 fillets salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. 1

Pat the 4 salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Brush both sides with 2 tbsp olive oil.

  2. 2

In a small bowl, mix 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp garlic powder, and 1 tsp paprika. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over both sides of the fillets.

  3. 3

Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking.

  4. 4

Place the fillets skin-side down on the grill. Cook for 4-5 minutes without moving, until the skin is crisp and releases easily.

  5. 5

Flip the fillets and cook for another 3-4 minutes, until the flesh is opaque and flakes easily with a fork, reaching an internal temperature of 145°F.

  6. 6

Remove from the grill and let rest for 2 minutes before serving. Enjoy hot.
