Ingredients

  • 4 whole peaches
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. 1

Cook the 4 bacon slices in a skillet over medium heat until crisp, about 6-8 minutes. Transfer to paper towels, then crumble into bits.

  2. 2

Cut the 4 peaches in half and remove the pits. Brush the cut sides with the 1 tbsp vegetable oil.

  3. 3

Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Place peaches cut-side down and grill until charred and softened, about 3-4 minutes. Flip and grill 2 minutes more.

  4. 4

In a chilled bowl, whip the 1 cup heavy cream with the 2 tbsp powdered sugar until soft peaks form, about 3-4 minutes.

  5. 5

Place 2 peach halves on each plate, cut-side up. Drizzle with the 2 tbsp honey.

  6. 6

Top each serving with a dollop of whipped cream and sprinkle with the bacon bits. Serve immediately.

  7. 7

Optional: add a pinch of cinnamon or a few fresh mint leaves for extra flavor.
