Ingredients
- 2 lb chicken wings
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 cloves garlic
- 4 stalks green onions
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
Instructions
- 1
Pat the 2 lb chicken wings dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, toss with 1 tbsp vegetable oil, 0.5 tsp salt, and 0.25 tsp black pepper until evenly coated.
- 2
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F). If using a grill pan, heat it over medium-high for 2 minutes.
- 3
Grill the wings in a single layer, not crowding the pan. Cook for 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the skin is charred and crispy and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- 4
While the wings cook, make the glaze: in a small bowl, whisk together 0.25 cup soy sauce, 2 tbsp honey, and 2 minced garlic cloves.
- 5
In the last 2 minutes of grilling, brush the wings with the glaze on both sides, letting it caramelize. Remove from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes.
- 6
Thinly slice 4 green onions. Toss the grilled wings with the sliced green onions and any remaining glaze. Serve hot.
